My Cousin Mickey and I were babies together, birthdays three months apart! We grew up together but it wasn’t until we were teenagers in High school that we more than cousins , we were Friends! We had fun, good times with my friends (SAA) and his friends (RFA). His RED Corvette! After High school Mickey brought Louie into my life, Mickey was in our wedding of course, going on 57years. But as time passes ,life changes , distance sadly we kind of lost touch. Even though we lost touch my Cousin Mickey was always in my Heart! I know He is in the Hearts of everyone who knew Him! Everyone knew my Cousin and Friend Mickey! God Love Him, He is at Peace now, Your Cousin and Friend, Rose Louise

I was a senior in college and needed to find a dealership to hire me for the summer. I needed to do this as a class project and write a paper on it. After a couple turn downs I got a call from Mickey. He offered me a job at Cater Lincoln Mercury. That’s actually how I started my career there. He had a way with people and a likeability I’ve always strived for. There are car guys in the business who are gear heads and car guys in the business who are true people persons. I think Mickey was a little of both. He taught me a ton made me laugh. I will forever thankful for that.

A wonderful man..with an incredible smile and contagious laugh!!
He always ‘sold’ me the best cars..even if they weren’t even close to the color or style I wanted !!
A great human with one of the kindest hearts.
Will always love you Mickey .. and your great hugs and kisses...
You are a true angel now ..

So many wonderful memories that one can only appreciate in old age, from riding on the milk truck on collection day when there was always "extra" change to get rid of, to riding in his '63 Vette where I held on for dear life as he tried to break the sound barrier, to washing cars for a buck at the Sunoco station. As a kid, my cousin Mickey always made me feel special, In later years I will always remember my cousin Mickey, the consummate salesman, arriving at my home and singing Happy Birthday as he handed me the keys to a Firebird my wife bought for me ( he talked her into cancelling the truck I had ordered.) No matter how many lemons life handed him over the years he made sure those around him had lemonade. Rest in peace Cuz, God knows you've earned it.
Cousin Peter
