Aunt Elise, Rest In Peace. What a generous spirit you had, and what memorable times we shared at your home over the years! Thank you. Blessings to Colleen and family and all who mourn your passing. Peggy

Nana,
It hurts me that you are no longer with us. But yet, you are with us. You warm my ears and toes in the winter time with your hand knitted slippers and hats. You dry my hands with your cute dish towels I keep wrapped around the handle of the oven door. I smile every time I see a pretty maple shaped syrup bottle because you used to get so excited to food color them in your windowsill for every occasion. Every time I travel I remember to look specifically for a beautiful new bell to cherish as a souvenir. I even think of you when I go to the grocery store and buy Entenmanns danishes and helluva good onion dip. You may no longer be here, but you still look down upon us and you live through us.
It breaks my heart that I can’t come see you one last time but I will forever remember the vivaciousness in your eyes the last time I saw you. You touched so many peoples lives and I know there’s a lively party waiting for you up there.
Miss you always,
Your granddaughter Karen

Colleen and Family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers and your mom will be in our hearts forever. She was a best friend to our mom, Dayle. Mark and I enjoyed taking her to the Floyd Fireman's Parade and Stittville Fire Dept softball games a few years ago which she loved. Our sympathies to your entire family.

Aunt Elise, you will be missed. The homemade slippers, dish towels, candy, bells, long talks on the phone, picnics and so much more. You were like my second mom. I will forever cherish the memories we had together.
"What My Godmother Meant To Me"
Godmothers have no wands or wings,
So they work with wisdom, love, and things.
Having taken on this role,
You loved me right down to my soul.
You offered kindness
And greetings with a hug and kiss,
Each freely out of love which I will miss. I chose a twinkling star in the sky at night ,
To say a prayer for you to it’s bright light.
You’re in God’s Heavens now and no longer in pain,
In my thoughts, you’ll always remain
How lucky I was,
How blessed I’ve been,
You were more than my Godmother,
You were also my friend.
I love you and miss you ~ Your Goddaughter Penny
Colleen and family, I am very sorry for your loss. May you find peace and comfort in the days and weeks ahead.
