Obituary of Stephen C. Thomas

Stephen "Chuck"Thomas Jr. Stephen C. Thomas Jr, 48, of Rome passed on October 24, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 9, 1968 in Great Lakes, Illinois, the son of Stephen and Catherine Bitely Thomas. Chuck was a graduate of R.F.A Class of 1987 and was self employed as an automotive technician. On December 26, 1987, Chuck was united in marriage to Mary Peck in Rome. Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary; his father, Stephen C. Thomas Sr. and wife Janet of NM; his mother Catherine Davis and husband Robert of FL; a daughter, Vanessa M. Thomas, Rome; two sons, Stephen C. Thomas III, Rome and Michael A. Thomas, Whitesboro; two brothers, Robert Thomas, CA, Hugh Thomas and wife Yuko, CA; one sister, Samantha Greenwood, Fl; three grandchildren, Kira Hutchins, Glen and Kami Sauerhafer; along with many beloved aunts, uncles. Chuck had a particularly close relationship with his Uncle Bill and Aunt Pam Thomas, Brooklyn, NY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 4:P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 2-4 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date
