Obituary of Micah L. Sturbin

Micah L. Sturbin Micah L. Sturbin, 37, of Utica, and formerly of Rome, passed away September 25, 2017 at his home. He was born September 11, 1980, in Rome, NY, the son of Michael and Carol (Costello) Sturbin. Micah was a graduate of Rome Free Academy, Class of 1998, and went on to continue his education at SUNY Albany. He was employed as a Machinist at Indium Corp. Micah was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, who enjoyed riding. He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Carol Sturbin, Rome; a cherished daughter, Sylah Sturbin, Rome; two sisters, Sara (Nyssa) Sturbin, Charleston, SC and Noel Sturbin, Davis, CA. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 1st from 4-7pm at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome, NY. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 9:00am at St. John the Baptist Church, Rome. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery
