Felicia June (Sullivan)Swisher Felicia June (Sullivan) Swisher, 78, of Western, passed away on January 18, 2017. She was born on June 12, 1938 in Oneonta, a daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Masker Sullivan. She attended Laurens Central School and furthered her education with night classes and computer courses. Felicia was married three times, to Joseph Harrington, Charles Worden and Elden Swisher, all have predeceased Felicia. Over a period of fifty years, she was employed by Delaware County Infirmary, Delhi, NY, Oneida Containers, Vernon, Sears Oil Co., Rome, NY, CRM Rental, Rome, NY, Central Auto Salvage, Oneonta, NY, and she retired from O'Connor Hospital in April of 2013. Felicia loved genealogy and traced some of her family as far back as 1603. She was very instrumental in coordinating the Sullivan Family Reunion for many years. She is survived by three children: Joseph Harrington (Danielle) of Canastota, Catherine Olney (Max) of Westernville and Timothy Harrington of Taberg, NY; two brothers, Fred and Debra Sullivan in Springfield, Texas and Charles and Rose Sullivan in Lee Center, NY ; six grandchildren and many nieces , nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Frederick in 1977 and a daughter Maggie in 1984. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 4pm at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome, NY. Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will take place in Oneonta Plains Cemetery in the Spring
