Obituary of Rocco Clark

Rocco Clark, 76, of Lee Center, passed away on June 8, 2017 at The Grand Nursing Home. He was born on January 1, 1941 in Moultrie Georgia, a son of the late Leo and Ethel Coleman Clark. He was educated in Rome Schools and was employed by Rome Strip Steel until his retirement. Rocco was a member of St. Joseph Church in Lee Center. He is survived by his loving wife Annie, of Lee Center; two sons, David Clark, Rochester, Michael Clark and wife Brenda, California; a daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and John McKenzie, Kansas; two brothers, Gene Clark and wife Doris, Lee Center, Jimmy Clark, Rome; two sisters, Lillie Simmons and husband Charlie, Lee Center, Joann Burrell and husband Willie, Florida; three grandchildren, Jamison, Ashlyn and Jordan. Along with many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Fannie Lou Height. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Central New York Chapter 441 West Kirkpatrick Street Syracuse, N.Y. 13204 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church in Lee Center. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday from 3-6 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
