Obituary of Barry Francis O'Donnell

Barry Francis O'Donnell, 75, of Rome, passed away on June 9, 2017, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 15, 1942, in Donegal Town, Ireland, a son of the late John and Bridget Mullin O'Donnell. Barry received his education in Ireland and moved to New York City in 1964. On July 24, 1965 he was united in marriage to Ann P. Gallagher in West Chester. Barry was employed by the United States Air Force as a Meteorologist and was a member of St. Joseph Church, Lee Center and the Lee Center American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife Ann; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Cherie O'Donnell, Wheatfield, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Dennis Wilson, Baldwinsville, N.Y.; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday from 5-7 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
