Phyllis A. Racquet, 72 of Holland Patent, NY passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Born on July 3, 1952, in Utica, NY, she was a daughter of Stewart and Verna Poppleton Farr.

Phyllis was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was proud of her family and enjoyed her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother; she enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Phyllis’s warm smile and kind presence will be missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Toni (Daniel) Snyder; grandchildren Daniel Snyder Jr., Katelyn Green (Brayden Snyder), Rebecca (Chris) Hoage, and Laura Snyder (Tyler Ziobro); great grandchildren Aliyah Jane Hoage and Hunter James Hoage; a sister, Sharon Farr (Keith Young); nieces Sonya (Jeff) Ellinger and Amber Coffin (Billy Smith); family friend Michael Newland Jr. She was predeceased by her parents, Stewart and Verna Farr, her companion, Richard “Papa Dick” VanDyke, and her sister and brother-in-law Penny and Alan Clarkin.

In keeping with Phyllis’s wishes there are no public services. Memorial contributions in her honor can be made to the Stittville Fire Department, 9069 Main St. Stittville, NY 13469 or Hospice of Central New York 990 7th N St, Liverpool, NY 13088.

Funeral services are entrusted to Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home of Rome, NY.
