Kenneth M. Peck, 68, of Rome, passed away with his family by his side following a long illness. Born in Selkirk, NY on May 24, 1955, he was the son of Kenneth Peck Sr. and Grace Dudley Peck. Ken was raised by his grandparents Charles H. Peck and Helen Peck. Following graduation from high school Ken became a truck driver at NEMF which allowed him the opportunity to travel the country, he was also employed by LCS cleaning services and Walmart. He was formerly united in marriage to Dawn Rivenburgh.

Ken was kindhearted and nonjudgmental; friends and family could always find comfort in a conversation with him. His caring demeaner was his legacy, something that will be missed by all who knew him. Ken was a proud member of the Catholic faith. While Ken enjoyed time spent with friends and family, his greatest joy came from his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his sons, Christopher Peck (Stephanie Wallace) and Chance Peck; his daughters, Charity and Todd Baker, Jessica and Blake Clayborn, Hope and Aaron Castleberry, and Faith Garcia (Jonathan Palantino); his brother, Ronald Peck; sisters Nancy Wright, Brenda Vest, Patricia Peck; grandchildren Caden, Carter, Christian, Jessica, Amber, Ashley, Brian, Trinity, Jonathan, Kyle, Madelyn, Emera, Evelyn, and Ophelia; nine great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Grace Peck; his grandparents, Charles and Helen Peck; his brother, Robert Peck.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes there will be no services, in one final selfless gift he donated his body to research. Funeral services are entrusted to Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home of Rome, NY.
