Walter A. Koziarz, 65, of Pahrump NV, formerly of Rome NY, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2023.

He was born in Rome on January 31, 1958, a son of the late Chester and Grace (Tripp) Koziarz.  Walter was united in marriage to Nancy Danti on July 7th 1984. The couple enjoyed many wonderful years until her passing in March 2022. Walter retired to Pahrump, NV after 30 years as an engineer at Rome Labs.  He was a traveler at heart, savoring his drives back home every summer.

He is survived by his two sons, Andrew and Andrea (Cady) Koziarz, and Anthony Koziarz, all of Rome; granddaughter Piper; and his fiancé Lydia Tefft of Syracuse.  He was predeceased by his parents, wife Nancy, and his brother Joseph.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date with his burial at Westernville Cemetery. Please consider donations in Walter’s memory to Rome Humane Society.
