Wendy E. Clemens Obituary

Wendy E. Clemens, 72, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023.

She was born September 29, 1950, in Rome, a daughter of the late Howard George and Margaret Irene (Raymond) Clemens, Sr.  She took great pride in her appearance, loved to dance, and listen to music – especially Elvis Presley.  She was quick with a joke, and loved to make people smile.  She took great pride in her administrative tasks at the DDSO home. Wendy was devoted to her family and looked forward to spending time with them.

She is survived by her sister, brother and their spouses, Pamela and David Burk of Lee Center, and Howard and Lynda Clemens of Oriskany; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, and two sisters Gail Tryon and Dana Tryon.

All are invited to call Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 9am-10am at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome, NY.  Funeral services will follow at 10am.  She will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rome.
