Mary Eva Lighthall

   Mary Eva Lighthall, 81, of Rome, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023, at the Oneida Health Center, with her loving daughter at her side. She was born in Oneida N.Y. on June 28, 1941, a daughter of the late Irving and Zoetta Hyland Pratt Sr.  Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially playing pitch and bingo. She was formerly united in marriage to Ronald F. Lighthall prior to his passing.

   Mary is survived by three daughters, Laura (Frank) Enos, Rome, Tina (Mike) Moore, Michigan, Tammy Harris (Michael Russell), Rome; three sons, Paul Pratt (Agnes Eckert), Town of Lee, Eugene and Jeffrey Smith, both of Alabama; a sister, Cindy (Donald) Wyatt, South Carolina, twenty-four grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a special caregiver, Michelle Myers and favorite feline companion, Sadie. She was predeceased by a brother Irving Pratt Jr.

   Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 2 – 4 PM. A celebration of life will be held at 4 P.M. following calling hours.
