Patricia Mason, 61 of Valdosta, Georgia and formerly of Rome, N.Y. passed away at home with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Patricia was born on April 24, 1961, in Rome, NY and was a daughter of Thomas Kenealy Sr. and Mary Anne Croniser Kenealy.

Patricia has a successful career as an accountant and was employed by the Veterans Health Administration in Texas, Arkansas and Florida. She was united in marriage to Larry Mason on September 7, 1988, the two shared a wonderful life and raised four children together. Patricia enjoyed time spent with family and friends, most of all, she cherished time spent with her eight beloved grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband Larry Mason; her children Larry and Samantha Mason, Delaware, Johnnie & Sam Mason, Rome, NY, Lynda Mason (Harold Sylvester) Delaware, Mary and Jay Grayer, Rome NY; siblings Ted and Karen Kenealy, Joe Kenealy (Patti Carr), Rick and Pam Kenealy, Kathy Farrar (Brian Perry); father, Thomas Kenealy; eight beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Anne Kenealy.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 1- 5 PM at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Peters Cemetery, Rome.
