William Glen Porter

   William G. Porter, 72, of Herkimer, passed away at his home on October 14, 2022. He was born in Utica, N.Y. on January 1, 1950, a son of the late Robert and Shirley Connine Porter. Prior to his retirement William was employed  by St. Lukes's Hospital as a Security Guard. In his spare time William enjoyed fishing, watching baseball and football,especially the N.Y. Yankees and N.Y. Giants.

   He is survived by two sisters, Linda Hayman, Ohio and Donna DeArmond, Marcy; one brother, Robert J. Porter, Buffalo; a special friend, Marla Randall, Herkimer; along with several nieces and nephews.

   A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11 A.M. at Friendship Baptist Church of Rome. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery.
