Obituary of Joyce J. Seals

Joyce J. Seals Joyce J. Seals, 77, of Rome, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022, at Rome Health. She was born on April 28, 1944, in Rome N.Y. a daughter of the late McNeil Sanders and Artry Seals. She was educated in Rome Schools and was an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Rome. For over 35 years she was employed by the Oneida County Dept. of Social Services as a Social Worker until her retirement. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Iris Beaman, of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Travell Beaman and Matthew Brown Jr.; a great granddaughter, Tiana Eisinger. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 4P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3-4 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will take place in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Stokes.
