Obituary of Stanley G. Losowski

Stanley G. Losowski Stanley G. Losowski, 86, of Rome, passed away on November 2, 2021, at Rome Health. He was born on June 17, 1935, in Utica, N.Y. a son of the late Thaddeus and Mary Motyel Losowski. On August 6, 1953, Stanley enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country until 1956. He was united in marriage to Ann Marie Martin in a ceremony which took place in Philadelphia in 1957. Ann Marie predeceased Stanley on May 10, 2020. Stanley was a member of St. Mary’s – St. Peter’s Church of Rome and member of the Twelve Step Fellowship. He was employed by O’Shea Plumbing & Heating and Local 112 of Utica, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf in his Tuesday morning golf league at Mohawk Glen Golf Course and gaming at the Turning Stone Casino. He is survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Amanda Losowski of Hebron KY, Joseph and Lindy Losowski, Valatie N.Y. and David and Lori Losowski of Rome; six grandchildren, Rachel Weiss (Alex), Mark, Daniel, Susan, Jake, and Justin. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 1 PM at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service.
