Latisha F. Taylor, 36, of Rome NY passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2021. Born March 6, 1985, in Rome NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael Alan Taylor and Patricia Ann Washington. Latisha graduated from Rome Free Academy in 2003, and later studied at MVCC. Latisha was employed by Rome Health and the Terrace at Woodland, where she worked as a CNA always providing her patients with wonderful care. Latisha was a gifted artist, her love and talent for art was evident in her many beautiful drawings. She loved to cook and enjoyed hosting family gatherings; she also enjoyed a good shopping spree. Latisha loved spending time with her family, most of all, she loved taking care of her beloved little sister Michele who will miss her dearly. Latisha is survived by her sister, Michele Taylor, Syracuse; uncle, Jeffrey Taylor, Syracuse; aunt, Trinisia Pitts, Syracuse; grandparents, Walter Gates, Jessie Davis, Johanne Taylor; nieces and nephew, Shomaria, Tyjuwan, and Asrika Jackson; aunt, Juanita Housley; aunt, Tammy Grovner; uncle, Eddie Washington; many loving cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael Alan Taylor and Patricia Ann Washington, sister, Tyresa Stroman; uncle, Willie Washington; aunt, Vanessa Wasington; uncle, Reggie Washington; cousins, Shalondra Grovner, Arthur Hunter, Sierra Taylor; grandfather, Willie Taylor; great grandmother, Frances Housley; great -great grandfather, Joseph Housley. A special thanks to the Walker and Lyons family for their support and kindness to Michele and family during this difficult time. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome N.Y.
