We are heartbroken at the loss of Jasmine. Everyone in our family has wonderful memories of her. She was always so much fun and so full of life. She taught Sara, Mark, and me some sultry Latin dancing last year. She was an inspiration to all of us. We acquired unforgettable memories in approximately 188,216,000 seconds, 3,153,600 minutes and 876. It’s wild how during those times I didn’t think about the smallest memories with you that were subconsciously being engraved into my brain. Now I go to the store and think about the time I came over and you gave me wheatgrass to help me feel better. I look at a camera and remember the time we had a class assignment and walked all over Downtown Albany doing a project that doesn’t even matter anymore. I look at a dessert and think about the first time we tried vegan donuts in the East Village. I lay in my bed and think about the sleepovers we had before Halloween or Curlfest.
True friendships aren't planned-they just happen. It just happened that she sat in front of me during an orientation 6 years ago. That lecture hall had to have at least 100 people but she sat near me. Who knew that the curly haired stranger in workout clothes would become my classmate, my zumba teacher, my confidant and ultimately-one of my best friends.
I can only hope that she knows how much I love her and there isn't a soul in this galaxy that could replace her. We found each other in this life and we'll find each other again-my forever angel.
P.S. I'll let you know if I find anymore good vegan restaurants in the city; I love you

Your baby cousin Khylie didn’t get a chance to meet you in person, but over family Zoom calls she saw you! I’m sure she would have had a blast hanging with you. Because she has all your traits ( beautiful, strong-willed, talented, head strong, courageous, leader, warrior, fighter and loving ) I will never forget you! I hate we didn’t get a chance to dance together; I’m sure we would have danced a hole in the floor lol!
