Deborah (Debbie) Ann (Holtz) Rasbach, 63, of Rome, NY passed away on December 7, 2020 after her 6-year battle with cancer, in her home with her loving family by her side.
Debbie was born in Rome, NY to Brian C. Holtz and Janet (Grzesiak) Holtz Ringrose on November 7, 1957. She attended Transfiguration School. She graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1975. She went on to get her degree from Utica School of Commerce. In 1985, she married Robert Rasbach and celebrated 35 wonderful years of marriage. She retired from Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate after 36 years of distinguished service.
Debbie was a caring person who always put others before herself. She had many long-standing friendships that lasted 50 plus years. Her friends were more like family. Much of her time was enjoyed celebrating life with her family and friends.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Rasbach of Rome; daughter, Ashley Rasbach and her boyfriend, William Seth of New Hartford; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Coral Rasbach of Lee; a granddaughter, Lena Rasbach of Lee; mother, Janet Holtz Ringrose of Rome; sister Donna (James) Casper of Sauquoit; sister Denise (Dave) Chasse of Utah; sister-in-law Carrie Holtz of Florida; and sister-in-law Linda Kies of Clinton. She is predeceased by her father, Brian C. Holtz; stepfather W. Robert Ringrose; father and mother-in-law Robert and Dorothy Rasbach; brother Brian C. Holtz II; and brother-in-law Richard Kies. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome, NY on Thursday, December 10,2020 at 2pm. with Anthony Tosti officiating. Calling hours will be held from 12 to 2pm prior to the service.
