Obituary of Ann Marie Losowski

Ann Marie (Martin) Losowski, 82, of Rome, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2020, at the Colonial Nursing Home in Rome. She was born on September 16, 1937, in Philadelphia PA, a daughter of the late William and Kathleen (Patterson) Martin. Ann was united in marriage to Stanley G. Losowski Sr in a ceremony which took place in Philadelphia in 1957. She was a member of St. Mary's - St. Peter's Church of Rome and was devoted to her Christian Faith. Her passion for family, Faith and friends was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Ann was a licensed cosmetologist working at Griffiss Air Force Base until her retirement. Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Stanley Losowski Sr., Rome NY; three sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley Jr. and Amanda Losowski, Hebron KY, Joseph and Belinda Losowski, Valatie NY, and David and Lori Losowski, Rome NY; a sister, Deloris Bemmine; six grandchildren, Rachel Weiss (Alex), Mark, Daniel, Susan, Jake and Justin; a niece, Maria Flood Fiet. She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Quinn,Kathleen Gavin and Theresa Flood; two brothers, William and Joseph Martin. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 12 P.M. at Strong Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. prior to the service. Anyone planning to attend services is asked to please wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing requirements.
