Obituary of Helena Sipley

Helena Gruby Sipley Helena Gruby Sipley, entered into Heaven on May 31, 2019, to join her beloved husband Raymond. Helen was born in Rome, N.Y. on July 6th ,1931, the daughter of Carlton and Cora May Fish Gruby. She lived most of her life in Rome. For the past few years Helen lived at the Oneida Extended Care Facility, where she passed away. Helen was predeceased in death by her husband Raymond, six brothers, Howard, Carlton, Clarence, Frederick, Harvey and Charles, and a sister, Alice. Helen leaves behind three daughters, Christine, Dawn, and Jodi, two sons, Raymond and Jamie, a daughter-in-law, Karen, two sons-in-law, Rick and Brian, 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Helen was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. Helen has left her earthly life behind, but will always live on in the hearts of her family. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at Rome Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements by Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome.
