Obituary of Julann M. Sheppard

Julann Marie Sheppard, 48, of Blossvale, passed away on May 9, 2019, at Rome Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Rome, NY on December 25, 1970, a daughter of Robert and Gertrude Briggs Sheppard. Julann was a graduate of Camden High School, Class of 1990. She continued her education at M.V.C.C., earning an Associate's Degree in Human Services. Julann attended the Evangelical Wesleyan Church in Rome. She will always be remembered for her love of cats and dogs.

She is survived by her mother, Gertrude Sheppard of Blossvale; sisters, Deborah (Rance) Hall, Kearney, NE and Merrybeth (Roger) Quackenbush, Blossvale; three brothers, Michael and Robert Sheppard, Blossvale and Thomas (Cathy) Sheppard, Rome; along two nephews, Larry Stoner, Jr. and Dustin Stoner; great nieces and great nephews, Kaden Payne, Marissah and Brayden Stoner, and Audry Stoner. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Sheppard and a sister, Melody.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Strong -Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
