Alice was a warm and wonderful woman and I loved living with her and her daughter Deanna. It was a special time in my life - and Alice was a big part of it. Alice made me feel right at home, even though I was far from Denmark. I could not have wished for a better hostmom.
I was very sad to hear of her passing and my thoughts are in Rome this weekend as Deanna and the family say their goodbyes.

Aunt Alice was an amazing woman. So proud to be her niece. She was kind, loving, caring and giving. She always put others first. You will be truly missed.
