Obituary of Stephen C. Voels

Stephen C. Voels, 37, of Rome, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2024. Born on April 13, 1986, he was a son of Lloyd Clark and Grace Voels. Stephen was educated in the Camden school district and was a cook at Applebee’s Bar and Grill.

Stephen enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially his children Aries and Journey. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Stephen enjoyed listening to music and playing video games. Stephen, often called Steve-O had a great sense of humor and could always make light of a situation. His gift to make others laugh and smile will be greatly missed. He was a friend to all and easy to get along with.

Stephen is survived by his son Aries and daughter Journey; brothers Lloyd “Jr” Clark, Jerry J. Clark, and Roger C. Clark; sisters Samantha Voels and Crystal Lansing who was like a sister; father Lloyd Clark; mother Grace Voels; several aunts and uncles; many cousins and numerous friends.

Friends and family are invited to call at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome, NY 13440 on Saturday April 13, 2024 from 3-4PM. A funeral service will follow at 4:00PM.
