Joseph Kierpiec

Joseph (Joe) Kierpiec, 65 of Taberg, NY passed away on September 23, 2023 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 18, 1958, in Rome, NY to John and Fannie Kierpiec. He was united in marriage to Wendy Kierpiec on July 21, 1979.

Joe was a self-employed owner and operator of Kierpiec and Sons Trucking, Joe spent over 40 years driving truck across the country. Besides trucking, Joe loved farming, gardening, and his grandchildren. Joe will be missed not only by his family but by his many over the road friends.

Joe is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Tami Kierpiec of Verona, NY and Joseph and Heather Kierpiec of Taberg, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren Wendy, Briar, Sean, Lauren, and Katelynn. He also leaves behind two sisters JoAnn (John) Preputnik of Milan, MI, JoMarie (Tom) Hanggi of Chittenango, NY and one brother John Kierpiec of Vernon, NY, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Wendy Kierpiec on December 3, 2003,his son Michael Kierpiec on August 13, 1981, and his parents John and Fannie Kierpiec. Private services to be held at Evergreen Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home.
