Betty Dippel Obituary

In Loving Memory of Betty Dippel

Betty Dippel, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 1, 1939, to Anna and George Crumb (Krum), Betty lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Throughout her life, Betty exemplified the values of kindness, hard work, and generosity that were instilled in her from an early age. She dedicated many years of her life to the nursing profession, where she provided compassionate care and comfort to countless patients and their families. Her caring heart and gentle spirit made nursing more than a career—it was her calling. After retiring from nursing, Betty continued serving others through her work in customer service at Walmart, where her warm smile, friendly personality, and willingness to help made her a favorite among customers and coworkers alike.

Betty shared many years with her former husband, Albert Dippel, and later found happiness and companionship with her significant other, Edward Palsyn, whose love and friendship brought her comfort and joy.

Her greatest accomplishment and deepest love were her family. She was the cherished mother of son Marvin Hollandsworth and daughter Diana Evanciew and her husband, Paul Evanciew. She found endless pride in watching her family grow through the generations.

She leaves behind three beloved grandchildren: Heather Avery (Evanciew) and her significant other, Christopher Koor; Paul Evanciew Jr. and his significant other, Eva Westcott; and Robert Havener.

Betty was also blessed with six treasured great-grandchildren: Robert Smith, Jacob Havener, Breana Avery, Trysta Avery, Brandon Evanciew, and Arionna Evanciew.

Her legacy continues through her five precious great-great-grandchildren: Jaelyn Smith, Aleeah Smith, Oaklynn Smith, Decland Smith, and Lilliana Smith, each of whom brought immeasurable happiness and pride to her life.

In addition to the love she had for her family, Betty had a special appreciation for beautiful jewelry. Whether it was a treasured piece she wore for a special occasion or a simple accessory that brightened her day, jewelry reflected her graceful style and the sparkle she carried within. Friends and family will fondly remember how it brought a smile to her face and complemented her warm and elegant spirit.

Those who knew Betty will remember her for her generous heart, unwavering strength, infectious sense of humor, and unconditional love. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel cared for, whether she was tending to a patient, assisting a customer, or simply spending time with family. Her compassion, wisdom, and gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

While her family mourns the loss of a remarkable woman, they also celebrate a life well lived—a life filled with love, service, and devotion. Betty’s legacy will continue through the generations she so dearly loved, and the memories she created will forever remain in their hearts.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

“A life filled with love leaves a legacy that time can never erase.”
