Agnes E. Pezzula, 84 of Rome, passed away on April 6, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 10, 1941, in Rome, New York, a daughter of the late Woodrow Lohr and Eleanor Heller.  Agnes was educated in Rome schools and married Louis Pezzula in 1979. She and her husband Louis were formerly employed by the A&M Amusement Co. where they enjoyed traveling the countryside attending county fairs.

 Agnes enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and was a member of the local bowling league. She was a woman who loved adventure and enjoyed a ride throughout the countryside whenever she had the chance. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Ava Dorfman Center and enjoyed nothing more than finding treasures at a good garage sale.

Agnes is survived by her four daughters; Brenda Johnson, Beth and Ed Bean, Betty and Edward Williamson, and Lisa and Trevor Fletcher.   She is survived by many cherished grandchildren, including her special caretaker granddaughter, Alicia Desjardins who spent countless hours caring for her and showing her love until the end. She is also survived by her sister, Ola Pritchard. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Louis Pezzula; a son, Gene Lohr and her sisters, Patricia Borist, Barbara Winchel, and Shirley Van Slyke.

 Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 3 to 5 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. A memorial service will follow at 5 P.M.
