Elizabeth M. Vaughn, 78 of Rome, passed away at Rome Health on November 21, 2025.

Born October 9, 1947, she was raised in Rome by her parents, Mary (Pugh) and Howard Wickham. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Ronald F. Vaughn on November 2, 1968. They shared 57 years of love and devotion.  Elizabeth worked for Morgan Linen for many years and retired from Samaritan Hospital in Troy. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and fishing and camping with Ron.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; her daughter Tina and Bernie Grimminck of Troy; two sons, Ronald F. Vaughn, Jr and Christopher R. Vaughn, both of Rome; two grandchildren, Christina and Rocky; and many great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, brother William R. Pugh and her best friend Mary Wilkes.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services.
