Mary P. Wilkes, 73, of Rome, passed away at home on Saturday, October 4, 2025. 

She was born in Troy, NY on February 18, 1952, and was a daughter of the late Lester and Mary (Phillips) Becker.  Mary was united in marriage to Donald Wilkes. They shared a union of love and friendship until his passing on October 20, 2023.  Mary loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed bingo and other activities with her friends. 

She will be missed by her daughter Lisa Powers; brother Edward Becker; grandchildren, Ashley, Katlyn, Zackery, Sean, Charisma, Pamela, Amber, Donny and Earl; many beloved great-grandchildren; and her cat Georgie-Girl. She was predeceased by her husband, her sons, Don, Willy, Johnny and Michael, her parents, sister, Nancy, and brothers Sonny and Francis. 

Mary and Donald will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.  Arrangements by Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home.
