Richard Stephen “Steve” Dickson


 Richard Stephen Dickson, 75, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital. He was born on September 7, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, a son of the late Richard Glenn and Jeanette Sappington Dickson. Steve was a graduate of Gadson State Community College of Gadson, Alabama. He proudly enlisted in the United States Army serving as a Military Police officer for over 20 years until his retirement. Following his retirement from the United States Army, Steve accepted a position with Defense Finance & Accounting Services at the Griffiss Park. Steve was formerly united in marriage to Helenmary Warren. Steve is survived by two daughters, Brandi Marie Dickson (Sean Miniter) of Rome, Krista Nichole Dickson (Ronald Postilio) of Whitesboro; two nieces Natalie Verdict of Maryland and Amanda Verdict Boaz of Alabama: three grandchildren, Morgen Alexas Weitman, Madisyn Rose Postilio and Londyn Rose Postilio. Steve was predeceased by a sister, Alicia Dickson Verdict and a grandson, Christopher Jayson Ivy.


Funeral services are private and there are no calling hours.
