Catherine M. Bellinger

Westmoreland 1926 – 2025

Catherine M. Bellinger, 98, of Westmoreland, passed away on August 4, 2025, surrounded by her children.

Catherine was born in Clockville to Hebert and Huldah Morford. She was a graduate of Oneida City School and worked for the telephone company.

On January 17, 1948, she married William Bellinger. Together they raised two children. Catherine was a member of the United Methodist Church of Westmoreland, the Questers and past member of Rome Twigs. She enjoyed cross stitch and even won 1st place at the NY State Fair. She and Bill spent many summers in Sylvan Beach and winters in Florida.

Kay will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and for the best Christmas cookies and apple pie ever!

She is predeceased by her husband William (2008) and her sister Joyce.

Survived by a son William (Charlene), daughter Cathy (Blake); grandchildren, Allison (Andrew), Ashley (Chet), Nicole (Mike), Danielle (Nick), and Bill (Sissy); twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby Pearl.

There will be no public calling hours. Private burial services will be held for the family.
