Tyler Hill Pelon

Tyler Hill Pelon Sr. 38, of Rome, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2025, at the Wynn Hospitalin Utica, following a brief illness. He was born on August 10, 1986, a son of Lynne Pelon.  Tyler attened Westmoreland High School and was formerly employed by Schaffer & Sons Contracting of Westmoreland. He was a talented baseball player in high school with a 89 mph fastball. Tyler enjoyed motorcross racing and going fishing with family and friends.

   He is survived by his beloved mother, Lynne Pelon; a cherised son, Tyler "TJ" Pelon Jr; his fiancee, Nikki Hoffmeister; a aunt, Donna Semit and a uncle, Walt Pelon Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hour on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, for 3 - 4 P.M. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. A prayer service will follow at 4 P.M.
