   Margaret M. Hubbell, 84, of Clinton, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, at Oneida Health. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret was born on June 20, 1940, in Sherburne, N.Y., a daughter of the late Gerald Mettler and Neva (Puller) Dewey. She was a graduate of Sherburne High School and married on December 6, 1958. Margaret was employed by Slocum Dickson Medical Group as a medical records specialist prior to her retirement. Margaret was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. She taught ceramics in her home for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, knitting, and reading. Anyone who ever met Margaret loved spending time with her.

   She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles, a daughter and son-in-law, Kim White and Douglas Eaton of Rome; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bruce Hubbell, Clinton, Christopher and Connie Hubbell, Oneida; a brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Darlene Mettler, Kent Ohio; a sister, Janice Bassett, Smyrna; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Lindsey, Kaitlin and Alexander; one great grandchild, Adeline. Maragret was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Johnson; a brother, William Mettler and brother-in-law, David Bassett.

Interment will take place in the spring at Willcox Cemetery, Smyrna N.Y.
