Obituary of Sharen Lowery Wutsch

Sharen Lowery Wutsch, 62, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 8, 2019. She was born on October 13, 1956, in Dover, NJ, a daughter of Alvin and Barbara Williams Lowery. Sharen was a graduate of the Brick Township High School, NJ. She was formerly united in marriage to Jeffrey Wutsch. He passed away on March 8, 2018. Sharen was a member of St. Peters Church in Rome. Sharen's passion in life was spending time with family and friends, especially her grand babies. Sharen loved animals and enjoyed raising Boxers. She is survived by her beloved children, Catherine Wutsch, Sean and Karen Wutsch, Kristofer and Kristen Wutsch, all of Rome, and Zachary Wutsch, Cape Coral, FL; her mother, Barbara Hennessey, NY; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Jackie Hennessey, SC; two sisters, Pam Alfonso, TN, Brenda and David LaGatta, NY, four cherished grandchildren, Justin, Carly, Matthew and Brayden Wutsch; her boyfriend, Donny Harris; her canine companion, Igor and many nieces and nephews. Sharen was predeceased by her father Alvin Williams, her stepfather Thomas Hennessey and her sister Bonnie Stankus. In lieu of flowers the family asks for Memorial contributions to be made to the National Kidney Foundation 731 James Street #200, Syracuse, N.Y. 13203. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 7:00P.M. at the Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5-7 P.M. prior to the service.
